PAGE

This is a collection of my photos which don't fall into one of my other pages.
- Self-portrait.
- Colorado Blizzard of 2003
- More Images:
- Trip to Hawaii, June 2000:
- Some slides I scanned in from various places. The descriptions are the best I can remember them as, it's been a while now. My personal favorites are marked with *'s.
- *Repairs. My friend Rich despirately working on our Formula SAE racecar shortly before it blew up completely. He has an evil look on his face in this picture (he doesn't alwasy look like that).
- FSAE. The FSAE group photo.
- Repairs2. More repair attempts being made to the FSAE car.
- Narita. A temple in Narita.
- Buddha Carvings. A temple which had 1000? different carvings of Buddha around it which took an individual 10? years to carve.
- Mishima. A temple in Mishima city.
- Mt. Fuji-san. Not a great view, but the best view I had of Mt. Fuji during my visit.
- *Shinkansen. The Japanese Bullet Train. I don't remember what town this was taken from.
- Gifu. A night-shot outside the trainstation in Gifu-city.
- Castle. The entrance to the castle in Kyoto.
- Kiyomizudera. Appeal for the ban of nuclear weapons.
- *Kiyomizudera. Me standing at the Kiyomizudera Temple in Kyoto shortly before sunset.
- Pagoda. I know, I need a wide-angle lens. This is the world's oldest 5-story pagoda.
- Sega Rally. Me playing Sega Rally (new back then).
- Treasures. Me at Nara's building of National Treasures.
- Raining. This umbrella was worth every last yen I spent on it.
- *Carving. An old man in Nara carves a figure of a deer.
- Buddha. A bronze statue of Buddha. This is the largest bronze statue, housed in the largest wooden structure.
- Buddha2. An outside view of the structure the Buddha statue is located in.
- Shinkansen2. The Yamagata Shinkansen.
- Temple. The most visited temple in Japan. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head right now...
- Taipei. A shot out a hotel room in Taipei. Taipei was a fairly dirty and polluted place so I didn't take all that many pictures of it.
- Snake Alley. The Taipei night market. An interesting place, known for things like drinks with fresh snake venom in them.
- Taipei2. Another snap-shot of Taipei. You just can't go anywhere without running into one of these.
- *Sea shore. I think this was a beach in Hualien, on the south-east coast of Taiwan.
- *Royal Gorge. The Royal Gorge of Taiwan. Rather than taking the tour bus along this scenic drive (which stops along the way), I took the public bus. Much cheaper and a lot of fun at the speeds we were going, but it was a little difficult taking pictures out the window of a speeding bus. Thank goodness for motor-driven, automatic cameras.
- Royal Gorge Tunnel. A tunnel we walked through at the top of the Royal Gorge.
- Royal Gorge2. I can't remeber the name of this town, it's at the top of the royal gorge.
- *Fisherman. A man fishing at a beach in Taitung, south of Hualien.
- *Rock Formation. Same beach in Taitung.
- Temple. A decorative entrance to a temple in Taitung. Notice how different the temples are in Taiwan from those in Japan.
- *Temple2. Inside the same temple.
- Daytona. If it's one thing the Taiwanese love, it's video games.
- Mini Club. The Taiwan Mini Club.
- Me. Me at the top of Fall River Road (same park).
- *Cherie. Cherie the Mountain Woman.
- Top. At the very top of the same area.
- National Airport. Shot from the Washington Monument.
- Lincoln Memorial. Shot from the Washington Monument.
- Capitol. Shot from the Washington Monument.
- Enola Gay. The Enola Gay exhibit at the National Air and Space Museum.
- Enola Gay2. Another shot of the Enola Gay.
- ME-109. An ME-109 at the same museum.
- ME-109. A closer picture of the same ME-109.
- Rocket Engine. Another example of why I need a wide-angle lens.
- *O2 Tanks. Some oxygen tanks on a space craft. I think this was a lunar landing module, but I'm not sure.
- Smithsonian. The main building of the Smithsonian.
- National Cathedral. Not a very good shot, but I wanted to get a picture of the flying buttresses.
- Meer? Cat. At the National Zoo.
- National Zoo. This seemed a little odd.
- *Edsel Hood Ornament. A picture of the hood ornament on my Edsel. Roger Van Andel has informed me that this is most likely from a Buick, not an Edsel.
